FERRON – Vicki passed away Aug. 22, 2011 after a five-year battle with cancer surrounded by her husband and five children.
Vicki was born March 30, 1951 to Weir W. and Doreen Mckee Stevens. On Dec. 10, 1968 she married Lee R. Crosland. Together they shared 42 years of marriage. Vicki’s greatest joy came from spending time with her husband, children, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Lee R Crosland of Ferron; five children, Valarie (Glen) Farnsworth, Castle Dale; Kellee (Corey) Toomer, Grace, Idaho; Shannon (Scott) Reber, Cedar City; Matt Crosland, Ferron; and Amanda (Devan) Bjarnson, Ferron; her mother, Doreen Ashby, Holden; and her 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Weir Stevens; stepfather, Garr Ashby; and brother, Boyd Stevens. The family wishes to thank Dr. Te and his staff in St. George, Sherrie King at Castleview Hospital, and a very special friend Diane Tadchara for their kindness they showed to her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Aug. 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Desert Edge Christian Chapel in Huntington. The family will meet with friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Desert Edge Christian Chapel and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning prior to services.
