Bert later owned Pine Canyon Company where he will always be remembered for his dedication to his work and for making many lifelong friendships. In 1993, he retired from Pine Canyon. Although they closed the doors to the shop, his home was always open to his buddies for an enjoyable visit or a good game of cards.
