Trunk or Treat
Desert Edge Christian Chapel invites you to join us for our annual Trunk or Treat event. This “spooktacular” event has a festive atmosphere and is family friendly. We will be starting at 6 p.m. in the parking lot on Oct-31. Please come hungry as we will be serving chili and cornbread free of charge.
Forbidden Fruit Grand Opening
Darcey Powell is expanding her Forbidden Fruit business. She specializes in caramel apples and other tasty treats and gift baskets. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Oct. 20 at noon at the new business location in Cleveland at 100 West Main next to the new fire station. The Emery County Business Chamber will host the ribbon cutting. The grand opening of the business will be on Oct. 28 and 29 just in time for Halloween treats.
Pumpkin Carving
Huntington City will host a pumpkin carving event on Oct. 19 from 1-3 p.m. at the Huntington City Park.
State football playoffs for Spartans
The Emery Spartan football team will travel to Enterprise for a play-off game in state 2A football. The game will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the town of Enterprise in Southern Utah.
Trunk or Treat
Huntington first and fifth wards will host a trunk or treat activity on Oct. 31 at 5 p.m. in the church parking lot on 500 East.
