CRAIG, COLO. / PRICE, UTAH- Stella Johnson, age 64, passed away on Oct. 13, 2011 in Craig, Colo. Stella was born on March 5, 1947 to Bud and Betty Prettyman in Price, Utah, she married Phillip Alexander, later divorced with three children; married Gail A. Johnson, later divorced.
Stella loved her family and her favorite thing was to bring her grandkids over to watch movies. She loved to play her guitar as well as reading, crocheting, leatherwork and she was a very good artist. She loved her cat Pixy. She always loved getting together with her brothers and sister to play guitars and sing.
Stella was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel. She loved Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. She taught her children the gospel and shared her testimony with them and others.
She is survived by her children: Wade (Cindy) Johnson of Craig, Colo., Bud (Kelle) Johnson of Blanding, Utah, Jenny Smith of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Ronnie (Patti) Johnson of Milan, Mich.; grandchildren: Travis, Trevor, Jessica, Darin, Samantha, Rhiannon, Krysten, brothers and sister: Jack (Joella) Prettyman of Ferron, Utah, Ernie (Doris) Prettyman of Helper, Utah, David (Kristy) Prettyman of Wellington, Utah, Jody Mortensen of Ferron, Utah, James (Charlie) Prettyman of Emery, Utah and a very dear friend, Dee Phillips who lived by her in Craig, Colo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Betty Prettyman and her niece, Shayla Prettyman Revas.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Wellington LDS Fourth Ward Chapel (50 North 100 East.) A viewing was prior to the service at the church from 9-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Wellington City Cemetery. Services were in care of Fausett Mortuary. We will deeply miss you Mom. We love you and will see you again when we reunite in Heaven.
