PRICE-Dennis Kay Christensen, age 57, was greeted into the arms of his best friend and brother, “Buddy” on Oct. 18, 2011.
He was born July 6, 1954 in Kenilworth, Utah to Thomas Adron “Bud” Christensen and Lena Belle Kofford.
Dennis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who loved fishing, hunting and enjoying the beauty of the great outdoors. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict while stationed in Germany.
Dennis was a dedicated worker whose passion was driving truck. For years he worked for Lowdermilk, Cox, Savage and Nielson Construction where he was respected by all.
Dennis loved to be around his family and he cherished the memories that he shared with his nieces and nephews.
Survived by his mother, Lena Christensen, Price; four brothers and one sister, Clarence Christensen, Price, Karen (Kirk) Sitterud, Orangeville, Leslie Christensen, Craig, Colo., Jerry Christensen, Price, Gary Christensen, West Valley; 17 nieces and 18 nephews.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Bud Christensen; sister, Christine Tharp, brothers, Lloyd Thomas and Buddy Lee Christensen.
Funeral service, Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, 11 a.m., Price Fourth LDS Ward, (545 East 400 North) Price. Family was at Mitchell Funeral Home Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
