Fall Harvest Arts and Crafts fair Nov. 12
The Lions club of Huntington will be holding their annual Fall Harvest Arts and Crafts fair on Nov 12 from 11 a.m.-5p.m. It will be in the auditorium of the Huntington Elementary School. There will be flu shots available also through CNS nursing facility. Come join us for a day of fun and find some special gifts for that fussy person on your Christmas list. There will also be a Thanksgiving dinner ready for any who are hungry in the cafeteria that evening. The cost of that will be posted that day.
Emery County Recreation Youth Recreation Survey
Emery County Recreation is conducting a survey. The survey forms will be distributed at each school or can be picked up at the Emery County Recreation office. Each student will be given a survey form to take home. Please fill out the survey form and return it to your school or they may be dropped off to the Emery County Recreation building located at 45 S. 400 E. in Castle Dale between 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The survey is also available on-line at www.emerycounty.com/rec.

Festival of Trees
For 41 years, the Festival of Trees has ushered in the Holiday Season in Utah. More importantly, every penny raised helps children at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Join us as we give “A Gift of Love” to children at Primary Children’s Medical Center. Festival of Trees – Nov. 30- Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. – South Town Expo Center, Sandy, Utah.
Millsite Dam public meeting
A public meeting to discuss proposed modifications to Millsite Dam will be held in the Ferron City Hall on Nov. 10.
Time of meeting is 5:30- 6:30 p.m. Alternatives addressing the spillway, raising the dam and earth quake stabilization will be discussed.
