The Christmas season is in full swing in the county with a variety of activities taking place since Thanksgiving. Several communities have had celebrations including Huntington, Castle Dale, Orangeville, Ferron, Elmo and Clawson. Cleveland will hold their celebration on Dec. 24 at the Old town hall building at 6 p.m. Emery held a bazaar with crafts and food and Santa made a visit to the community.
The Emery High choir concert will be on Dec. 14 and the Emery High band concert will be on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. The San Rafael band will play on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at San Rafael Junior High in Ferron. The Canyon View Junior High band will be on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at the junior high in Huntington. The Canyon View Christmas choir concert will be on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Cleveland Elementary Christmas Program on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Desert Edge Christian Chapel will hold Christmas Eve candlelight service on Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. The Mission San Rafael Catholic church will hold Christmas Eve mass at 7 p.m. and the Spanish speaking Christmas Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. at the mission.
The Huntington Men’s glee club and women’s chorus will present a Christmas Concert on Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.
Castle Dale Baptist church Christmas services at 11 a.m. on Christmas day.
First Baptist Church in Ferron will be presenting The Christmas Letters, on Dec. 18 at 10:30 am. Join them for the play, then a potluck/ white elephant gift exchange to follow. On Dec. 24 join them for a Christmas Eve Service at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 435-384-3321.
