"The ice is still freezing so the new ice skating rink can be used."

The Emery County business chamber will host a ribbon cutting for the new ice skating rink at the Lion’s Park in Huntington on Wednesday at 1 p.m. There will be hot chocolate and doughnuts at the event. Everyone is welcome to attend on Dec. 21.
The ice is still working on freezing and the rink isn’t usable yet, but the city council wants everyone to come out and see the new addition to recreation in Huntington.
There has been some cause for concern because the new rink has already been vandalized with some of the sand bags being removed and rocks have been thrown into the water.
Efforts are being made to find those responsible for the vandalism to the new facility.
