Third Annual Marriage Event
Looking for a great gift, the Utah State University Extension is gearing up for its Third Annual Marriage Event on Feb 4, 2012 at the Museum of the San Rafael. AWANA Club
AWANA Club will be every Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. It will be held at Desert Edge Christian Chapel, 500 South Main in Huntington. There will be Bible based lessons, fun and games. For children age 3 through elementary school.
Master Club
Master Club will be held on Wednesday nights at First Baptist Church in Ferron from 7-8:15 p.m. Sing songs, play games, earn badges, learn practical skills, be surprised by what you find in the Treasure Chest all during a Bible centered evening of activity. For more information call: 435-384-3321.

Missionary Prep class
All high school seniors and graduates are invited to a weekly Missionary Preparation class at the Castle Dale LDS Seminary. Classes are every Monday morning at 7 a.m. Breakfast is provided afterward. We look forward to seeing you.

Emery High School “Military Honor Wall”
Emery High School has created an “Honor Wall” to recognize Emery High students who have served in the Armed Forces from 2000 to the present. We would like a 5×7 photo in military dress, if possible. Please include name, branch of service, rank, active duty address, and deployments. AQUATIC CENTER
Lifeguard Certification Class
Emery County Aquatic Center will be teaching a lifeguard certification class for adults who are at least 21 years old. There is a $100 fee. Maximum class size is 10 and consists of 31.5 hours of instruction. After you become certified you will be eligible to apply for an “open” position as a lifeguard at the Aquatic Center. You Can Help
Natasha Nicole Brinkerhoff, the daughter of Dave and Joan Brinkerhoff of Orangeville, is a 19 year old vibrant girl. In 2009 she was diagnosed with Melanoma skin cancer localized on her head. She beat that cancer like a champ.
But on April 5, 2011 she was diagnosed with stage IV Melanoma in her lungs, the most severe type of melanoma. She has tumors all over her lungs. Treatment will cost up to hundreds and thousands of dollars.
Anyone wishing to help out Natasha and her family may donate through an account that has been set up at Zions Bank in the name of Tasha Brinkerhoff.
Learn to sew
Jody Porter will be holding Sewing Days on the 2nd and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Free of Charge. You can learn to sew, or work on any project you desire. Bring materials & sewing machine. Volunteer Drivers needed for Veteran’s Shuttle
Volunteer drivers are needed to transport Veterans to and from their medical appointments. This seven passenger van travels from the Price community to the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Here is an opportunity for you to show your appreciation to those who have served our country. Volunteer drivers provide a vital service with the satisfaction of helping our heroes. You need to be dependable, have a decent driving record and in good health.
