James Keeton Nolan of Chandler, Ariz. passed from this earth in the evening of Feb. 25, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He had been bravely battling leukemia for several years. James is the loving son of the late Erma Lee Alger Nolan Weber, formerly of Cleveland, Utah.
Jim was born in Galveston, Texas on Aug. 31, 1948, to Erma Lee Alger and James Anthony Nolan. James lived most of his life in Utah and Arizona. He graduated from Tempe High School and Arizona State and also served as a US Marine in Vietnam. He married Peggy Day, they later divorced.
Jim loved sports, especially golf, hockey and football. He had an incredible sense of humor and loved to spend time laughing with family and friends. Underneath the humor was an intelligent, tender hearted soul. Throughout his battle he never complained and his concern was always for others.
