Colleen Petersen
FERRON – Colleen Petersen, age 68, passed away May 20, 2012 at her home in Ferron, Utah. Colleen was born Oc. 16, 1943 to Bacil Leroy and Weltha Violet Lamb Keel in Murray, Utah. She married Don L. Petersen Aug. 8, 1960 in Elko, Nev. Don passed away June 2, 1998.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy was her family.
Colleen is survived by her children: Todd (Brenda) Petersen of Ferron, Kim (Nicole) Petersen of Diamondville, Wyo., and ElDawna (Christopher) Koch of Fernley, Nev.; two brothers: Ronnie (Shirley) Keel of Evanston, Wyo., and Robert (Carrie) Keel of Vernal; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepmother, Flora Keel; and sister, Naomi Keel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Ferron Stake Center (555 South 400 West). There will be a viewing from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery.
