Visitors from Salt Lake came to Millsite state park and stayed the weekend. They hosted a golf tournament at Millsite Golf Course. There were a number of fundraising activities as they played golf and had raffles and other events. Money raised was to benefit the Little People and to help fund summer camps. Gillys barbequed hamburgers for the golfers. One golfer said Emery County was an awesome place and he was surprised more people didn’t come down here to take advantage of the many opportunities for recreation in the area. This group comes down every year to Millsite.
