HELPER- Pete Via, passed away Aug. 29, 2012 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 22, 1939 in Spring Glen, Utah to Joe and Mary Prazza Via. Married Mary Alexander July 31, 1965 in Grand Junction, Colo. Funeral Mass was held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church, Helper. Vigil service was Friday evening 7 p.m. at the church in Helper. The family was at the church Friday and Saturday one hour prior to services.
