EAST CARBON-Edgar Josiah Ewan slipped away quietly Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 in the home of his son Corey from complications incident to old age. Ed was born Nov. 19, 1925 in Merchantville, N.J.to Carl F. Ewan and Edith Devona Bernardo. He married Mary Rosalie Hicks on June 12, 1948 in Las Vegas, Nev.
