EAST CARBON-Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and longtime friend, Christine Charlene Combs Houser, age 81, passed away Sept. 26, 2012 at her home. She was born Dec. 21, 1930 in Norwood, Colo. to Charles and Estella Majors Combs. On July 26, 1949, she married the love of her life Delmas “Dee” Houser in Montrose, Colo. and shortly thereafter the family moved to East Carbon.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, 11 a.m., East Carbon Community Church. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street-Price) Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and at the church in East Carbon Wednesday one hour prior to service.
