ORANGEVILLE – Maurine Alga Hansen Tuttle, age 76, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City surrounded by members of her family. Maurine was born in Salt Lake City to Nels Abelin and Maggie Bell Beal Hansen on Nov. 23, 1936. She was raised in Emery, Utah. She married Dennis Tuttle in the Manti LDS Temple on Dec. 12, 1958.
Maurine was a devoted, faithful daughter of God. She served Him diligently in many callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived her testimony of the Savior each day. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she was especially proud of her children and grandchildren. Maurine tried to never miss a birthday.
Maurine is survived by her husband, Dennis; children: Jeffery (Lynette) Tuttle, Steven (Janet) Tuttle, and Wayne (Elise) Tuttle, all of Orangeville, along with Teresa (Dan) Limb of Heber City and Denise (Russell) Astin of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; brother, Nels Gary Hansen of Emery; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jennie Lee Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at 12 Noon in the Orangeville LDS 1st Ward Chapel (45 West 100 South, Orangeville). There will be a viewing Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 N. Center St., Castle Dale) and Friday at the church 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Maurine at www.fausettmortuary.com.
