CASTLE DALE: Robert A Weiner, age 70, passed away, Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 in Price. He was born Feb. 11, 1942 in Salt Lake City to Sidney and Margorie McCabe Weiner. Bob married his high school sweetheart Nedra Petrea Peterson on Sept. 16, 1961 in Provo, Utah.
Bob was raised in Springville and Provo. He attended Provo High. He worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company for a couple of years before becoming a steel worker. He worked for Pittsburg Des Moines Steel and CBI Steel for over 40 years before retiring in 2000. Bob learned the value of hard work at a young age and was able to pass this trait on to his children enabling them to work and play together. Bob enjoyed being in the outdoors with this family, be it camping or deer hunting. His greatest love was his wife and children and grandchildren and great grandchildren – they were the love of his life. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and friend.
Bob is survived by his wife, Nedra of Castle Dale; children: Patricia (Larry) Campbell of Vernal, Utah, Bobbie (Jesse) Baker of Fairview, Utah, Jackie (Cody) Taylor of Castle Dale, Utah, Dorothy (Todd) Frandsen of Livingston, Mont., Robert Sidney Weiner of Castle Dale, Utah and Andrea Tanner of Price, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William Weiner, and infant brother, Eddie Weiner.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, in Springville, 1997 S. 400 E. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and family may sign the guestbook and share memories of Bob at www.fausettmortuary.com.
