Letter to the Editor

By Joseph Babbel Provo Utah

Tis’ the season! We have so very much to be grateful for. God, our Heavenly King, has bestowed numerous blessings and talents among each of us unique individuals. Should we not also follow His divine example and give to others during this joyous time of year? I say to all, “Yes!” We should remember the less fortunate and struggling souls who may need a little extra help. Whether this is a new set of clothes or a simple hug, we must consider the needs of others before ourselves. In the words of a loving grandfather, namely Roy E. Babbel, “To love and be loved is the greatest blessing. The greatest ingredient of that blessing is unselfishness.” If we can all strive to be better this holiday season and focus more on others, oh how much more we shall truly receive ourselves.
