PRICE- David Scott Donaldson, age 37, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 in Price, Utah. He was born on Aug. 22, 1975 in Provo, Utah to David Donaldson and Debra Petersen. He married Shaniel K. Oliver on May 8, 1999 in Price, Utah. Scott was raised in Price, Utah and graduated from Carbon High School in 1993. He was assistant manager of KFC and later worked at CCYC Detention Center. He was loved by the youth and co-workers at his places of employment. He touched many lives with his wonderful gift of music. Known as “Hoss” and “Scotty D”, his smile, humor, and jokes will never be forgotten. He had great pride for his family, and loved each one of them dearly. He eyes lit up when he talked about his children. He will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shaniel, grandparents, Walter Donaldson and Phyllis Petersen, grandparents-in-law, James W. and Ellen M. Bates and LeRoy Oliver.
Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Price LDS North Stake Center, 449 North 100 East, Price. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Price LDS North Stake Center and on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Friends and families can sign the guestbook and share memories of Scott at www.fausettmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at any Zions Bank location or Eastern Utah Community Credit Union proceeds will go to Scott and Shaniel’s four children.
