HUNTINGTON: Our loving father, grandpa, uncle, brother and friend at age 68 returned to his Heavenly Father and was reunited with his mother on Feb. 17 2013, 51 years to the day of her passing.
Daniel was born Nov. 23, 1944 in Huntington Utah.
Daniel loved traveling and seeing new places. He did just that as a professional truck driver for 40 plus years. He took great pleasure in having his children ride with him.
He loved hunting, fishing, camping and reading. He had a unique sense of humor and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. One of his favorite places to be was Huntington Canyon, he thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors.
Daniel was survived by his nine children; Tyrrell (Mandy) Lester of America Fork, Utah, Melissa Lester of Wellington Utah, Jared (Christen) Lester of Billings Mont., Shane Lester of Huntington Utah, Jesse Lester of Green River, Wyo., Venessa (Jay) of Show Low, Ariz., Kris Lester of American Fork, Utah, Chandlerr (Christia) Lester of Green River, Wyo., William (Nicole) Lester of Huntington, Utah; his four sisters Alice, Fran, Kathy, and Miriam, 20 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Zella, sister Sharon and grandson Joshua.
A viewing was held Friday Feb. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price Utah 680 East 100 South.
The service was held at the LDS church in Price, Utah 150 South 500 East at 10 a.m. Saturday Feb. 23. Family viewing one hour prior to services.
