HELPER-Teresa Milovich, born to James Perino and Maria Quilico Rolando on June 28, 1922 in Helper, Utah passed away peacefully on March 1, 2013. She was married to Mike Milovich on September 14, 1947 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Helper. Teresa attended schools in Carbon County and graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She spent her lifetime as a nurse, first in California, then returning to Carbon County.
She worked as the office nurse for Dr. Gorishek and Dr. Phelps, as a public health nurse, ER nurse and retired as a home health nurse. Teresa was a member of the Retired Nurses Association and she loved the time spent with her nursing friends.
Teresa was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church where she enjoyed selling raffle tickets with her sister Mary. She had many interests, but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her true joy in life.
Teresa is survived by her son and daughter, Michael (Lianne) Milovich, Kathy (David) Anderson; grandchildren, Anita (Scott) Bruno, Monica (Shay) Lewis,
Darla Milovich, Christina Colosimo, Scott (Crystal) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Gianna Bruno and Danielle Colosimo; brother, Joe (Alberta) Rolando and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Milovich and sister Mary Ruggeri. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper, Utah. Vigil service, Monday evening 7:00 p.m. at the church in Helper. Family will be at the church Monday and Tuesday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories of Teresa online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Teresa’s memory.
