FERRON – Arlene Barney, age 80, passed away April 27, 2013 at her home in Ferron, Utah. Arlene was born November 20, 1932 in Springville, Utah to Mansuel and Esta Pierce Singleton. She married Leo Stark in Manti, Utah. Leo passed away in 1957. She then married McCoy Barney Jan. 7, 1959 in Provo, Utah. McCoy passed away in 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mansuel and Esta Singleton; husbands, McCoy Barney and Leo Stark; five, children: Steven, Joanne, Terry Lee, Timothy, and Jeff; granddaughter, Nicole Faith; and sister, Mary Kathleen.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Ferron at the Bluehills and Millsite LDS Wards Chapel (35 West 200 North). There will be a viewing Wednesday at the church from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
