Wanda, age 93, joined her eternal companion on May 13, 2013. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born the daughter of Erastus and Eliza Workman, Sept. 16, 1919 at Roosevelt, Utah, and raised in the Wellington area.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings during her lifetime and had the privilege to serve a mission for the church to the Apache and Navajo nations.
Wanda married Thomas Albert Cook on March 30, 1935, their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in August 1958.
Wanda’s children are Yvonne (Wayne) Hansen, Connie Reed, Deloras (Dallas) Aman, Larry (Joannie) Cook, and Dean (Susan) Cook. She has 19 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wanda will be Saturday May 18 at 11 a.m. in Manila, Utah at the LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. for friends and family. Burial in the Manila Cemetery.
