Green River High to host graduation May 23

Green River High is preparing for graduation on May 23 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.
Speakers include: Cassi Mecham is an honor student from Green River High. She is the daughter of Trevor and Allyson Mecham. She is 18 years old and loves to make people smile. Music is her passion and she cannot go a day with out it. She is always happy, loud, and always laughing. She can turn anyone’s bad day into a good day. In the fall this year she plans on attending Weber State University, where she will get a BFA in Graphic Design and Fashion merchandising. She plans on someday owning her own clothing line and her own store, and living in either Colorado or Washington.
Feleisha Marie Antillon is the daughter of Moises and Sandra Antillon. She is Green River High’s Salutatorian. She has one older sister. She is 18 years old. She has participated in volleyball, basketball, and cheerleading. She was Junior Class President. After high school, Feleisha plans to further her education at Dixie State University, in St. George. She will be participating in the Nursing Program.
Jamie Johnson is the class Valedictorian. She is the daughter of Nolan and Sharon Johnson and the youngest of 10 children. Following after her older siblings she was active in athletics playing volleyball and basketball four years. She was on the UHSAA Academic All-State team in both sports with a 3.961 GPA. She loves spending time with family and has chosen to attend Dixie State University where she can be close to her sister.
