PRICE-Our devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, has left this life to go and be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Wardella age 94 passed away on May 24, 2013 in Price, Utah. She was born on Nov. 27, 1918 in Richfield, Utah to Benjamin and Lydia Jensen Ward. She married Lamar Carlyle Edwards on Feb. 18, 1947. They were together for 64 years. Just one month prior to her passing she was sealed to her husband in the Jordan River Temple on April 20, 2013.
Wardella lived an exemplary life. After 30 years she retired from Mt. Bell as a telephone operator. Wardella always gave to others and made a positive impact on the lives of those she met. The most important thing in her life was her family. She and her husband loved to travel, she enjoyed shopping for family and herself, and crocheting in her spare time. Now she is dancing again with her beloved husband.
She is survived by her children: Larry (Patricia) Edwards of South Jordan, Utah; Allen and the late Ricki Edwards of Price, Utah; her sister Phyllis Hansen of Salt Lake City, Utah; five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lamar; brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Alice Ward; and daughter-in-law, Ricki Edwards.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Price City Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service at the cemetery on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, Utah (680 East 100 South). Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
