Fire in Castle Dale destroys family home

On the evening of June 21, the Castle Dale Fire Department was dispatched at 6:06 p.m. to 165 East 100 North for a structure fire. They arrived on scene at 6:12 p.m
Orangevile, Ferron, Huntington, Cleveland fire departments were also dispatched to the scene to assist.
Fire personnel remained on scene until approximately 11:52 p.m. to ensure the fire was out.
The cause of the fire is undetermined with no evidence of tampering at this time.
A full report will be forthcoming from the Utah Fire Marshal’s Office, who investigated the scene thoroughly. Chief Ignacio Arrien would like to thank everyone who responded to the fire.
They acted in a professional manner and he is very proud of our local volunteer fire departments.
Responding Castle Dale fire personnel included: Richard Herring, Seth Smith, Rod Magnuson, Chris Bingham, Camylle Draper, Jennifer Killpack, John Branham, Shawn Price and Julie Wilson.The home owners are Elven and JoAnn Stokes.
No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
