PRICE- Raymond E. Sisneros “Everyday Ray” passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side following a short illness on June 25, 2013.
He was born December 22, 1929 in Price, Utah to Aurelio and Serafina Aragon Sisneros.
Married Katherine Naranjo February 28, 1954.
Ray was an amazing and loving husband, grandfather and friend to all. You could always find him planted in a chair in front of his house shooting the breeze with friends, old co-workers, strangers, passerbys or anyone that would listen. Ray was a proud member of the U.M.W.A. local 6363 for sixty five years. He was also known for his business Rays Upholstery Shop which was his 2nd job. Ray did whatever it took to take care of his family. He ran that business for over 40 years. Ray proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a proud member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price. His family was the most important thing in his life; he loved us all so dearly and will be missed immensely.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Glenn Etzel, the staff of Symbii Hospice and Heidi Tuttle Cubel.
He leaves his beautiful wife, Katherine; sons, John (Diane) Sisneros, Raymond, Jr. (Betty) Sisneros, Danny Sisneros, Billy Sisneros; Daughter, Cathy Sisneros; grandchildren, Jason, Dade, Taylor, Lauren, Joey, Jessi, Alexis, Sara; seven great grandchildren and one on the way.
Preceded in death by his son, David Sisneros; parents; many brothers and sisters.
Funeral Mass was held Saturday, June 29, 2013, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service was held, Friday evening 7 p.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Family received friends Friday and Saturday one hour prior to service at the church. Committal, Price City Cemetery, Price. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ray online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
