Motorcycle and vehicle accident in Castle Dale

On July 10 at approximately 9:45 a.m. a white northbound Nissan Altima turned left off of Main Street onto 100 East in front of a southbound Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle rider ran into the passenger door of the white car. He sustained a broken femur and was transported to Castleview Hospital. The operator of the white car apparently didn’t see the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was listed as Phillip Curtis from Huntington. Kyle Larsen was the driver of the white vehicle. Curtis was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The Utah Highway Patrol investigated the accident. The driver of the car was cited for failure to yield.
