MOAB-Kerry Louise “McCourt” Tharp age 44, passed away on Dec. 18, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. Kerry went to be with her mom Louise Roedel Kneib she passed away Nov. 7, 2013.
Kerry was a homemaker, she know how to make you feel at home. She enjoyed spending time with her family which she loved very much. She enjoyed watching movies and loved playing bingo with her mother, Louise. Kerry was loved by everyone that knew her, she was great at being a mother and grandmother, and she was a loving and giving person. We love you mom.
Survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Leland Tharp of Moab, Utah, daughter, Misty Louise Tharp of Moab, Utah, son, Justin Leland Tharp of Grand Junction, Colo., daughter, Mandy Lynn Tharp of Moab, Utah, father, John Kneib of Golden Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren: Damian Lee Pipkin and Erica Johannaha Pipkin, of Moab, Utah, brother, Bobby Appleby of Price, Utah, sister, Raylynn McCourt of Las Vegas, Nev; aunt Georgia Huckins of Moab, Utah, aunt Janet Roedel of Price, Utah, uncle Bill Roedel of Golden Valley, Arizona.
Preceded in death by her father, Franklin Ray McCourt, mother Louise “Roedel” Kneib, twin brother Jerry McCourt, brother, Ray McCourt Jr., uncle Charlie Roedel, and several nephews and cousins.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price, Utah (680 East 100 South.) Family and friends gathered from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Family and friends may share memories of Kerry at www.fausettmortuary.com.
