Letter to the Editor: Response to ObamaCare

By Jerry Stotler Ferron

Editor:
My response to a recent post on FaceBook to a man who was complaining about criticism of ObamaCare.
Before you defend ObamaCare any further, you should actually read the law. I read most of the first 1000 pages and some odd parts here and there. I had to quit. I couldn’t stomach any more. In a year and two months, under ObamaCare, my healthcare becomes rationed. If I get cancer, for example, I cannot get full treatment.
But you do not care about health care, just some sorry excuse for health insurance. Read the law before you criticize, or are you just too lazy?
The leader is responsible for the actions of his subordinates. He is supposed to know what is going on in and by his department heads (his cabinet). I expect, no I demand, that the President be fully aware of what is going on by his appointees, as in Benghazi, by the IRS, by the Attorney General, by the NLRB, by Sibelius. He gets paid to know. This is not some school yard responsibility. He is not a hall monitor, he is President of the United States.
I do not expect him to know how to “code” (program language), but after $600 million plus, I demand that his appointees know how to “code” and I expect that after three years that “code” should be pretty clean. I am not a programmer, but in three years I can learn a lot of code. They supposedly hired experienced programmers, but we have a bunch of lazy bureaucrats not willing to “do the job” appointed them. For $600 million plus we could have built EBay.com, Amazom.com, Google.com, and GoDaddy.com and still had a lot of money left over. I am sorry, but there is no excuse for the sorry state of this presidents leadership.
Pres. Obama is the President of the United States. I demand Presidential level of performance; not spin. Can you imagine what would have happened during WWII with Obama in charge? All of Europe and Africa, and probably more, would be the Union of Germanic Nazidom, but, we would have lots of excuses and blame shifting. I didn’t do it. It’s not my fault. Bush did it. I did not even know about it until I saw it on the news.
Sound familiar? It should, it’s just more childishness in a grown up body. Please…Give me a real President.
