HUNTINGTON-Robert Sharidan Oviatt, age 23, passed away Jan. 19, 2014. He was born Sept. 15, 1990 to Terry and Julie Ward Oviatt.
Sharidan made sure he lived life to the fullest. He always had a joke to tell or a prank to play on those around him. He enjoyed playing football and doing high school rodeo. He loved to be around his family and friends whether it was hunting or camping. He had a special relationship with each of his siblings. There was never a dull moment with Sharidan around. He was the life of the party. He made friends everywhere he went. He had a kind sensitive heart and had a way of making everyone feel special. He looked up to his dad and had a special bond with him. He shared a close relationship with his uncle Steve and spent and a lot of time with his family. He worked at Renegade Industrial where he made a lasting impression with his wit and his big personality. Kids were drawn to Sharidan and he loved to tease them. He was easy to love and will be sorely missed everyday by all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Terry and Tammy Gordon Oviatt and Julie Ward; siblings: Jamison (Lacie) Ward of Billings, Mont., Gavin Oviatt, Tiana (Pete) McElprang, Savannah Hansen, Chans Hansen all of Huntington, and Caitlin (Cameron) Page of Kamas; five nephews and three nieces; grandparents, Donna Lemmon, Karen Ward, and Brent and Hilary Gordon all of Huntington; and close friends, Austin Leamaster, Derrick Allred, Jakob Killian, Dallen Ward, and Bro. Anderson; his special love, Samantha Beckstead; and many close cousins that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Oviatt, Deon Ward and Lee Lemmon, and Aunt Stacey Gordon.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Huntington LDS Stake Center (240 North Main St.). There will be a viewing Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Stake Center and also on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Huntington Cemetery where he will be buried next to both of his grandfathers. Services are in care of Fausett Mortuary.
