FERRON – Clint Maurice Conover, age 36, passed away Feb. 9, 2014 after being caught in an avalanche while snowmobiling with friends near Huntington Reservoir. Clint was born March 13, 1977 in Provo, Utah to Paul and Kathleen Birdsall Conover. He married Megan McNamara on July 16, 1999 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Clint was a fabricator/welder with Joy Global for 10+ years. Work recently sent him to help oversee a project in China this past summer. He loved snowmobiling, golf, hunting, hound dogs, 9-Mile Canyon, and family outings. His greatest love was Megan and the kids.
Clint is survived by his wife, Megan; five children: Colaine, Olivia, Joninka, Clancy, and Jess; parents, Paul and Kathleen Conover; and 11 siblings: Adam (Alice) Jerome of Provo, Utah, Michelle (Greg) McDermott of Washington, Utah, Aaron (Renae) Jerome of Woods Cross, Utah, April Jerome (Michael) Greer of Riverton, Bridgette Jerome (Keith) Patterson of Rexburg, Idaho, Utah, Tiffany (Kenny) Winder of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Heidi (Ethan) Migliori of Ferron, Utah, Melissa (Mikel) Fossat of Spanish Fork, Utah, Jenny (Joseph) Mireles of South Jordan, Utah, Heather (Jeremy) Sharp of Delta, Utah, and Ashley (Sterling) Henderson of Ferron, Utah.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Paul Conover who passed away in the Wilberg Mine fire, and grandfather, Jesse George Conover.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Ferron LDS Stake Center (555 South 400 West). There was a viewing Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Stake Center and also on Saturday at the Stake Center from 9 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Ferron City Cemetery.
