He was born July 23, 1929 in Cleveland, Utah to Joseph A. and Estella Olsen
Curtis. Connie was married to Theodora Karras (divorced) and he later married Shelia Tomsic (divorced).
Connie grew up in Price, Utah where he went to school and worked until called to serve in the Korean War. He was a proud veteran and made sure his children and grandchildren understood the sacrifice of service to your country. He was a member of the Price Elks Lodge and participated over the years in many charitable projects, including the Christmas Toys for Tots and the drive for deer hides. He worked for Arrow Auto Line, Rio Grande Motorway, and finally for Pacific Corp. He was known as a hard worker and made sure his children understood the work ethic.
Connie loved to tell stories about growing up in Price and on Cedar Mountain. His passion was hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. He imbued in his children a love of the outdoors and rock hunting. He loved working with his son on the farm and spent his last few years puttering around on his golf cart checking on the farm. Also in the last few years of his life his daughter-in-law Debbie provided meals and company to brighten his days. His family was a great joy to him and he loved visiting with grandchildren. He was always thrilled with the letters and pictures they would bring him which he displayed and often framed for his house. He also loved the frequent visits from nieces and nephews and their letters and phone calls. Connie was proud of his family and spoke often of the growing numbers with new marriages and babies.
