Born November 4, 1938 in Sheridan, Wyo. to Juanita Marie Owings and Frederick L. Carr.
Married Larraine Hoemi Kailimai, June 10, 1960 in the Hawaiian LDS Temple Laie Oahu, HI.
Graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1957. Served in the US Army for two tours in Vietnam with honors including a Purple Heart. Worked for Cornets, Christensen Dental Lab, with brother-in-law, Dominic, Chevron Oil with Keith Leavitt, John’s Distributing with John Beacco, Coca-Cola with Pace Hansen and the Dept. of Defense in Hawaii.
Member Price Elks Lodge #1550, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars and Past Commander of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survived by wife, Larraine, HI; daughters Rayne (Frank) Jensen, Cleveland, UT, Gerianne, HI, Sarah (Michael) Tabije, Las Vegas, NV; brother John “Jack” Carr, Price, UT; grandchildren, Kerwin C. (KC), Zachary L., of Cleveland, Amanda Lei, Harold James, HI, Micah, NV; great-granddaughter A. Frankie Jensen.
Preceded in death by parents, sister, L. Janet (Dominic) Oliveto; sister-in-law, Ora Renee Carr, half siblings, granddaughter Crystal, extended family and many dear friends from his many walks of life.
