Emery track

The Emery High track team traveled to Juab High in Nephi, Utah last Friday to compete in the Juab Invitational. Allred finished second behind Ashlin Blomquist in the 100 meters, Allred’s single individual race of the day. Allred ran the anchor leg of the 4×100 relay, a race that Emery finished third. Also on that team were Paytn Jeffs, Camrey Johnson and Bayler Griffin. Jeffs finished fourth in the long jump with a jump of 16’2″. The only other individual finisher was Kelsie Cox in the 300-meter hurdles with a sixth place finish. The Emery girls sprint medley relay team also finished third. The runners were Erin Hurst, Cox, Allyson Woolsey and Hanna Dyer. The Emery boys finished fourteenth in the standings. Ryan Cox finished second in the 200 meters with Cameron Allred finishing in seventh place in that same race. Cox finished sixth in the 100 meters.
