Miss Emery Jaicelyn Shakespaere needs some help from Emery County residents. “I am doing a humanitarian aid project for Miss Utah and I need to gather 1,000 plus pairs of shoes and boots and any type of footwear. I need them by May 9. I am gathering the shoes for people in Haiti. I will be attending Miss Utah the third week in June.” You can drop off the shoes to the Emery County Progress office in Castle Dale at 410 East Main, suite B. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If the office isn’t open please leave shoes on the bench outside the door.
Miss Emery will compete in interview, swimwear, on stage question, talent where she will sing, “At Last” and evening wear. Little Miss Jaylynn Lindley will accompany Miss Emery to the competition.
