Recognition: Riata Jean Christiansen

Riata Jean Christiansen was crowned the 2014-2015 Utah Junior High Rodeo Association Queen last Thursday in Heber City.
She will represent the association throughout the year at rodeos all over the state. She competed in Horsemanship, Test, Interview, Impromptu, Speech, Modeling and Appearance categories.
She was also voted Miss Congeniality by her fellow competitors.
She is 14 years old and the daughter of Kirk and Mistie Christiansen from Emery. She is a 4.0 student, an Emery High Spardette and will be a ninth grader at San Rafael Junior High this coming school year.
