Megan Wilberg, the Director of the Museum of the San Rafael hosted the Cache County Car Club from Logan Utah.
A caravan of nine vintage automobiles arrived at Castle Dale on their first leg of a journey to Moab. The Cache County Car Club planned to travel from Logan to Castle Dale on to Green River where they will spend the night and then go on to Moab the next day. After spending a day in Moab they will on the return trip again stay overnight in Green River.
Susan and Bill Whipple of Logan were leading this group of vintage cars. Sheba Stevens, a native of Hawaii is the president of the car club.
The caravan of cars averaged about 50 miles an hour. Susan Whipple driving a late model pickup truck was carrying the evening picnic dinner and arrived in advance of the caravan.
Those members of the caravan said the trip through Spanish Fork Canyon over Soldiers Summit to Price was beautiful. After arriving in Castle Dale and refreshing themselves the group toured the San Rafael Museum.
Many Castle Dale residents stopped by the museum to view these old cars.
The following is a list of some of those participating in the caravan.
