Sister Marissa Urie has been called to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She will enter the Provo Missionary Training Center on Aug. 13 and will be serving for 18 months in the Canada Toronto Mission.
Marissa will speak in the Ferron LDS Stake Center at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10. Sister Urie is the daughter of Wayne and Tracie Urie of Ferron.
