Wellington-Our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, Nickolas Pete Stamatakis, 15 returned to the loving arms above doing what he loved best on Aug. 17, 2014. Even though he left us way too soon, Nick donated the gift of life to help others.
Nickolas was born March 23,1999 in Price, Utah to Nick Stamatakis and Janene Wilson.
Nickolas loved riding his dirt bike, playing his guitar, hunting, fishing, hanging out with his friends, Spending time with family and most of all tearing things apart (tinkering) and trying to figure out how they worked, working on the farm and helping his Papoo, and teasing Nicki and following her every move.
Nickolas is survived by his father Nick Stamatakis, Wellington; mother Janene (Ty) Wilson, Lawrence; sisters Nicki (Dakota) Pierucci, Price; and Destiny (Anthony) Ponzini, Helper; step-sister, Chelcee (Brian) Evans, Price, step-brother, Dallen Wilson, Price; grandparents Pete and Sharon Stamatakis, Price; and Darryl and Callie Smith, Price; Uncles Tracy Stamatakis, Magna; Gus (Cindy) Stamatakis, Price; and Justin (Krissy) Frickey, Price; Special niece AyeLah Pierucci, Price. Many cousins and great friends who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his great grandparents and best friend Levi Armstrong.
Funeral Service, Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, 10 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment in Cliffview Cemetery.Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Nick online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
