HELPER- Our family is mourning the loss of our matriarch and loving mother,
Regina “Rae” Kloepfer. At the age of 102 she passed away peacefully on
August 26, 2014 with her son, daughter and their spouses at her side.
Rae was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Peter and Julia Borsik on October 22,
1911.
She married William Kloepfer on July 26, 1930 at Saint Alphonsus Church in
Chicago, Illinois. He passed away on June 11, 1983.
Rae was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper, Utah.
Among her many activities she was Past President of the Altar Society for
St. Anthony, Past President of Saint Pius X Altar Society in Moab, belonged
to DCCW and Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. She was an avid and
excellent bridge player and belonged to the bridge clubs in Moab and Helper.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her children, Matt (Betty Jo) Kloepfer, Helper, Karen (Leroy)
Uncles, Price; seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; twenty two
great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Katherine Demman; three brothers,
Phil, Paul and Mark Borsik; grandson, George William Simons; granddaughter,
Cathy Dimick
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, August 29, 2014, 10:00 a.m.
St. Anthony Catholic Church, Helper. Vigil Service, Thursday evening 7:00
p.m. St. Anthony Catholic Church. Family will receive friends at the church
Thursday and Friday one hour prior to service. Committal, Mt. View
Cemetery, Helper. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price
where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Rae online
at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net . In lieu of flowers family suggest
contributions to St. Anthony Catholic Church (5 South Main, Helper, Utah 84526).
