HUNTINGTON – Nancy Ann Huntington Kidd, age 70, passed away Sept. 7, 2014 at her home in Huntington, Utah. Ann was born May 6, 1944 in Huntington to Jesse William and Louise Johnson Huntington. She married Manuel Kidd on Oct. 20, 1962 in Tijuana, Mexico.
Ann was a self-taught artist. She had a love for oil painting and received many blue ribbons for her work. She also supported herself with her artwork. She was known for painting Native American and Southwest styles. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and quick wit.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Monica Ann Kidd; grandchild, Brandon Kidd; and siblings: William (Shirley) Huntington of Cleveland, Catherine Louise Huntington of Houston, Texas, Richard (Erma Lynn) Huntington of Orangeville, Betty Naylor of Salt Lake City, Jeffery (Vicki) Huntington of Salt Lake City, and Sandra (Danny) Curtis of Orangeville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Kidd; son, Adam “Hoss” Wade Kidd; parents, Jesse and Louise Huntington; and a grandson, Joey Kidd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Fausett Mortuary (720 N. Center St., Castle Dale). There will be a viewing that morning from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. prior to the services at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Huntington City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
