The Emery High Golf team will host their fellow region golfers on Sept. 16 at the Millsite Golf Course in Ferron in the final region meet of the season. Emery is in third place in the region standings behind South Sevier and Grand. Last week, the region played at Palisades State Park and the team finished third after shooting a 352, six strokes behind South Sevier who shot a 346. Grand won the meet. The Emery team was led by Kyler Farley who shot an 83. Jordan Fuller shot 86 with Mark DeBry shooting 91 and McKoy Holt shooting 92. Moab will host the region meet on Sept. 30 with the state meet scheduled the following week in St George.
