Jeff Guymon has worked for Emery County for 14 years as the IS/GIS Director/Network Engineer. During this time, he has proven his dedication to his job. He is the “go to” person for everyone in the Courthouse. On any given day you may find him working on the network, digging a grave at the Lawrence Cemetery, unloading a delivery truck, assembling a desk, or crawling under the courthouse or in the ceilings to run wires. He is honest and very cost conscious and is always looking for ways to save the taxpayers money. Jeff truly cares about his job along with the public he serves and his co-workers. He goes out of his way to make sure all the county computers are functioning at full capacity and virus free. He is respectful and would do anything for anyone.
Jeff’s job duties are numerous but in a nutshell he is the administrator over complex technical duties related to planning organizing, directing, and controlling the countywide information systems and data processing operations.
Emery County is proud of the work Jeff does and our IS/GIS Department is one of the best in the State of Utah. He is that employee that you will find always going above and beyond with the numerous requests from the departments in the county.
