It’s time for the 12th annual fall ride for the MECCA bike club. Riders of all skill levels are invited to attend. For a Fee of $75 ($65 if received before Sept. 19) includes Friday night dinner; Saturday and Sunday morning continental breakfast; Saturday night Dutch oven dinner; Sweatshirt (if registration is received by Sept. 19) and a prize drawing. Meal only tickets are $25 and do not include the prize drawing, a guided bike ride or the sweatshirt. Kids 8 years old and under eat for free.
Friday, September 26
Check-in at the Wedge Overlook, beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be a warm up ride that afternoon at 3:00. After the ride enjoy dinner at the Wedge camping area. Plan to stay at a motel or bed and breakfast in Emery County (Huntington, Castle Dale or Ferron) or camp at the Wedge. THE PRIZE DRAWING WILL BE AT 6:00 PM!
If you don’t make it on Friday, we’ll check you in Saturday morning.
Saturday, September 27
Join us for breakfast at the Wedge; then choose a ride that suits your biking ability from beginner to advanced (you’ll need to bring a lunch and snacks for the ride) – there will be no shortage of views as you ride this part of the San Rafael and Utah’s “Little Grand Canyon”! That evening, enjoy dinner and entertainment beginning at 5 pm.
Sunday, September 28
Breakfast at the Wedge then setting out to ride again, this time to the Buckhorn Pictograph panel (has been featured in National Geographic magazine). The Festival ends when you’ve finished this ride.
