Cleveland: Marvin Bell, age 56 passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 after a courageous battle with Lung Disease and other health complications. He was born Aug. 8, 1958 in Price, Utah. He was one of six children born to George and Ann Bell. Marvin married Ardyth Allred on June 25, 1977 in Huntington, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Sept. 21, 1996.
Marvin was raised in Orangeville and graduated from Emery High School in 1976. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marvin loved being in the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tying his own flies, horseback riding, camping and playing golf. Marvin’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. His girls didn’t hunt so he loved to spend time with them shopping. Every one of his grandchildren thought they were his favorite, and they were. They will remember him always giving them bubblegum.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Ardyth; children: Tina (Justin) Bradley of Cleveland, Corey (Julie) Bell of Cleveland and Valery (Jeff) Westergard of Helper; 9 grandchildren: Jaxon, Jayce, Tayden, Hunter, Lexi, Kai, Layla, Sofia and Kruze; brothers and sisters: Randy (LeAnn) Bell of Orangeville, Rue (Charlene) Bell of Orangeville, Michelle (Steve) Scovill of Castle Dale, Terry (Amy) Bell of Orangeville and Jan (Chris) Olsen of Orangeville. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Marvin Bell; brother, Phillip Bell; and nephew, Wayne Bell.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Cleveland LDS 2nd Ward Chapel, 355 West 100 North. A viewing was held on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the Cleveland LDS Church and on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Cleveland City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guest book and share memories of Marvin at www.fausettmortuary.com.
