The Orangeville First Ward Christmas Breakfast Party was held in the cultural hall of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints December 6, 2014.
Under the direction of Bishop Courtney Cox and his councilors, the group assembled to partake of the baked breakfast casserole of sausage, eggs, hash brown potatoes and melted cheese. In addition to the casserole there were rolls, ham, desserts, a tray of mixed fruits and cups of juice for drinks. The Bishop and the Ward Relief Society Sisters provided the food.
Stacey Moss related a story of how much her father loved Lionel Trains and when as a boy, he shared part of his train to complete the train of a neighboring boy. Others told short stories of interesting Christmas happenings in their lives or sang a song that was significant to them.
Vicky Humphrey read a Christmas poem and story after which Amy Bell led the group in singing Christmas Carols.
When the breakfast program was over Santa Claus made a visit to the Orangeville Ward and entertained the children with gifts and encouragement.
Everyone had a wonderful morning.
