Ferron: Mary Irene Mead, age 72 passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 1015 in Ferron, Utah. She was born Aug. 29, 1942 one of five children born to Floyd and Mary Stephens Merkley in Blackfoot, Idaho. She married Robert M. Mead on May 18, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Ferron LDS Stake Center, 555 South 400 West. A viewing was held Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ferron Stake Center and on Saturday Jan. 10, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Ferron City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Irene at www.fausettmortuary.com.
