HELPER- Yvonna Mae James passed away in the comfort of her home at 1:30 p.m., February 25, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born Aug. 19, 1922 in Castle Dale, Utah to Clarence Paul Anderson & Iona Mae Oveson Anderson.
Survivors are sons, Louis and Arthur; daughter, Vearla James Warner; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the LDS Church & was married to Earl O. James on November 26, 1938 in Castle Dale, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple Dec. 19, 1964.
She was talented in music and art, cooking and baking. She made birthday and wedding cakes upon request. She was a great seamstress. She made wedding and formal gowns and other clothing.
She was a homemaker extraordinaire and a devoted wife and mother.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A special thanks to her granddaughter/caregiver Stephni and her sister-in-law Rhea for the loving care she received.
Funeral service was held, Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, 11 a.m., Helper LDS Stake Center. Family received friends Friday evening at Mitchell Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
