Justin Thornley has been selected by his peers and the Utah FFA Association Executive Committee to receive the Honorary State FFA Degree. The Honorary State FFA Degree honors those individuals that have been of service to the Utah FFA Association and have made noteworthy contributions.
The Utah FFA Association relies on the support of exceptional teachers, individuals and companies to provide life-changing experiences for its members. Each year at the Utah FFA Association State Convention, those who have made outstanding contributions to the FFA are honored.
Superintendent Kirk Sitterud said Justin Thornley has created a very successful FFA program at Emery High for the young men and young women. Thornley received his award at the state convention in Richfield on Friday.
